Our company is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to assist in managing our clients' day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organisational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

Job Specification
  • Prepare monthly bookkeeping for several clients
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Prepare quarterly tax returns
  • Run monthly payroll for our clients
  • Prepare accounts up to trial balance stage

Skills and Experience

  • At least two years' experience in bookkeeping
  • At least one year's experience running payroll
  • Experience with Xero and FreeAgent would be highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Excel
