This March, we’re offering five free business consultation sessions with female entrepreneurs and women in business. This is our way of supporting the Brighton & Hove business community and the amazing women within it, as well as celebrating International Women’s Day, which is taking place on Friday 8th March this year. We’re proud to work in a city that champions women in business, and this is our way of providing what support we can to help this cause. Read on to find out more about why we’re running these free sessions, and how you can book one.
Why does it matter?
Women are still underrepresented in business, and research has shown that, despite a small overall increase in the number of women who are starting and running businesses, there is a long way to go to reach equality between men and women when it comes to business leadership and entrepreneurial endeavours. Whilst more women than ever before are starting new businesses, women often find it more challenging to find funding to start and grow their ventures, and also feel there is a lack of a support system available to support new women in business.
As a female-run business, we want to do what we can to help address these issues, as well as help women achieve their dreams.
Sharing our experience
Nilden has been running her own business for close to a decade now, and has had experience of working with 100s of different clients in all different sectors. In fact, she was sought by Thrive Magazine to give her advice and expertise on how to better the odds of survival as a start-up business.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, Nilden is giving away several consultation sessions with female business owners, or women who want to make the leap and start their own businesses. Come and meet with Nilden to talk anything from raising finance, to setting up as a limited company, to structuring your accounting, or to simply talk about some of the more personal worries and concerns you have about moving into the world of entrepreneurship and becoming self-employed.
